CSE and Listed Companies Embark on European Roadshow
The Canadian Securities Exchange (“CSE” or the “Exchange”) announced today that executives from the Exchange and some of its listed companies will begin a week-long tour of four of Europe’s most important financial centers on Wednesday, November 5. In addition to one-on-one meetings with local investors and investment managers, participants will take part in investment industry events in each city, including Europe’s premier resource show, the Internationale Edelmetall & Rohstoffmesse, in Munich.
CSE Chief Executive Officer Richard Carleton will deliver a keynote address at each event, discussing issues shaping Canadian and global securities markets and explaining opportunities the Exchange provides to investors and issuers. Other speakers joining the tour include Chris Berry of House Mountain Partners LLC and noted market analyst Dr. Hans Bocker.
Participating from the CSE are SecureCom Mobile Inc. (CSE:SCE), Biomark Diagnostics Inc. (CSE:BUX) and Pasinex Resources Ltd. (CSE:PSE). Other companies on the roadshow include Urban Barns Foods Inc., and True Leaf Medicine International Ltd., which was recently approved for listing.
Kicking off in Frankfurt on November 5 with a visit to the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, the tour continues to Munich for November 7-8, Zurich on November 10, and Geneva on November 12.
“The CSE is a well established part of the Canadian investment landscape thanks to the quality of our listed companies and the unique advantages offered by our exchange,” said Richard Carleton. “We’ve been encouraged many times to take our message to key financial hubs overseas whose investors have historically participated in Canadian capital markets. I look forward to strengthening our relationships with European investment professionals and hearing their views on the state of the markets at home and abroad.”
It is estimated that the four major events on the route will attract attendees numbering over 8,000 in total. The roadshow is co-sponsored by the CSE and Vancouver-based Zimtu Capital Corp.
